Are there Halloween escape rooms in Las Vegas?
Yes. Number One Escape Room has Halloween-themed escape rooms open year-round, day or night, seven days a week. You don’t have to wait for October. Book at NumberOneEscapeRoom.com or call (702) 528-1459.
Are there family-friendly Halloween escape rooms in Las Vegas?
Yes. Two rooms at Number One Escape Room are built for families who want Halloween fun without the nightmares:
- Witch House — a magical, mystical, multi-room escape game where all the famous witches stay when they’re in Las Vegas. The ultimate trick-or-treat escape room.
- Red Riding Hood — you’re actually going to Grandma’s house, but the fairytale has been twisted. Spooky and creepy, not really scary, with some of the best puzzles we’ve built.
Both are $45 per person, and both play all year.
What is the best Halloween escape room in Las Vegas for kids?
Witch House. It’s whimsical and magical the whole way through, so kids get the full Halloween experience without anything that follows them home. It’s the room we recommend first for families and for kids who scare easily.
Can kids under 10 play an escape room in Las Vegas?
Yes. At Number One Escape Room, 10 is a recommendation, not a rule. Younger children are welcome when a parent thinks they’re ready, and they must play with an adult 18 or older. Witch House is the room we’d suggest for the youngest players.
What is Witch House in Las Vegas?
Witch House is a magical, mystical, multi-room escape game at Number One Escape Room, built as a real witch house right in the middle of our building. The story is that this is where all the famous witches from the movies stay when they’re in Las Vegas. It’s colorful, vibrant, and packed with brooms, bubbling black kettle pots, smoking magical mirrors, and secret hiding spots.
What is the Red Riding Hood escape room?
Red Riding Hood is a twisted fairytale escape room at Number One Escape Room where you actually go to Grandma’s house. Red is not who you thought she was, the Big Bad Wolf and Grandmother are both tangled up in it, and the plot goes places the storybook never did. It’s our newest room, completely redone, with third-generation game design.
Which room should my family pick?
Choose Witch House if your kids are young, cautious, or scare easily, or if you want the most magical, most photogenic experience in town.
Choose Red Riding Hood if your kids can handle a little spooky and want something with more of a twist. Familiar characters make it approachable even for a kid who’s a little jittery.
Many families play both.
Are these escape rooms good for birthday parties?
Yes. Both Witch House and Red Riding Hood are excellent for families and birthday parties. Your group plays privately, everyone solves together, and the immersive settings make for great party photos. Call (702) 528-1459 to plan a party booking.
Do I have to come in October?
No. Witch House and Red Riding Hood run all year, so you can have Halloween in March if you want it. That said, Halloween season at Number One Escape Room starts early, in September, and the whole venue gets spookier for the season. As we like to say, September is boring, so we decided to make it Halloween fun.
Is an escape room a good Halloween activity for families?
Yes, and it’s the safest one. You play only with your own family and friends, never with strangers. Compare that to trick-or-treating on the street or a haunted maze packed with people you don’t know. Your kids get real Halloween excitement in a controlled space with only the people you came with.
Can kids wear costumes?
Yes, and they should. Costumes are encouraged. Families often dress for the room they’re playing. Full witch costumes in Witch House make for the best Halloween photos in Las Vegas, and the immersive setting does all the work for your camera.
What ages can play?
Our recommended minimum age is 10, and guests under 16 must play with an adult 18 or older. Younger kids are welcome too. You know your child best, so if you think they can handle it, bring them along. Give us a call at (702) 528-1459 and we’ll help you pick the right room.
How long does it take?
You get a full 60 minutes of actual in-room play time. The clock starts when you’re locked in, with check-in, briefing, and photos all happening beforehand. Many escape rooms advertise an hour and deliver about 45 minutes of play. Whichever venue you book, always ask how much of the hour is real play time.
How much does it cost?
Witch House and Red Riding Hood are $45 per person. Online booking adds a $5.95 processing fee, and code GIFT20 takes 20% off online bookings.

Inside Witch House: The Ultimate Trick-or-Treat Escape Room
Witch House is magical from the moment you walk in.
This is where all the famous witches go. Every witch you’ve ever seen in a movie, they all come here. This is where they stay when they’re in Las Vegas.
It’s a real witch house, built right in the middle of our building, and it’s a magical, mystical, multi-room escape game. You don’t just sit in one room solving puzzles. You move through the Witch House itself, room to room, hunting for spells and secrets.
And this is the kind of escape room that makes you forget you’re playing a game at all. You stop solving and start living in it. Incredibly immersive. Super colorful, vibrant, and detailed down to the last inch. Everything you ever imagined a witch would have is here: brooms in the corner, big black kettle pots bubbling away, smoking magical mirrors, secret hiding spots tucked everywhere you look, and color absolutely everywhere.
It’s fun, it’s crazy, it’s an explosion of fun.
It’s also Halloween the way kids want it, with all the excitement of trick-or-treating and none of the nightmares. Families play together, everyone contributes, and the room-to-room hunt keeps younger players locked in for the whole hour.
And like every game here, Witch House comes with a legend.
There is a Witch House in Las Vegas,
Where all the Witches go!
BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! When you enter here…
the magic starts to glow!
It’s a bunch of hocus-pocus,
A magical, whimsical spell.
The Witches hid their secrets
In every room as well.
So wander through the Witch House,
From the parlor to the door,
And find the spell that breaks the curse
Before the clock runs out!
And Then There’s Red Riding Hood: You’re Going to Grandma’s House
Haven’t you always wanted to?
You know the story. You do not know this version. You walk in, you head for Grandma’s house, and the fairytale twists right underneath you. Red is not who you thought she was. Not even close. And the Big Bad Wolf and Grandmother? They’re tied up in it. Literally.
The games inside are absolutely unique. Third-generation design, the kind of puzzles you won’t find anywhere else, and they’re very cool and a lot of fun to work through as a group. It’s our newest room and it’s been completely redone from the ground up.
Spooky and creepy, yes. Really scary, no. It’s the kind of room where everyone gets a little jumpy and then laughs about it two seconds later. That’s exactly why it works so well for families, and why it’s one of our favorite rooms for birthday parties.
For families, it’s the perfect step up from Witch House. Familiar characters make it approachable even for a kid who’s a little nervous, while the twisted plot gives older kids and adults plenty to sink their teeth into.
Come Play Both
Put on the pointy hat or the red cape. Bring the kids, bring the camera, bring the birthday crowd. Two rooms, two worlds, and one full hour each of pure escape.
Both rooms are $45 per person, open all year, day or night.
