Are Escape Rooms Safe for Halloween? Why Witch House Is the Best Family Escape Room in Las Vegas

Yes. Escape rooms are one of the safest and most fun ways to celebrate Halloween in Las Vegas. At Number One Escape Room, every game is private, so you only play with the friends and family you bring. Our Witch House escape room is a magical, whimsical witch house built right in the middle of our building, and it is the most realistic family Halloween escape room in Las Vegas.

Are Escape Rooms Safe for Halloween?

What Is the Witch House Escape Room?

Some people build escape rooms. We build the real thing. Witch House is a multi-room escape game filled with brooms, big black kettle pots, smoking magical mirrors, and secret hiding spots. Legend says all the famous movie witches stay here when they visit Las Vegas. Look closely and you might even spot a pair of ruby slippers sticking out from under the house.

Witch House is our ultimate trick-or-treat escape room. It runs year-round, and during Halloween season (September 6 – November 1, 2026) the whole venue gets spookier for the season.

Why Are Escape Rooms Safe for Halloween?

Halloween night can mean crowded streets, packed parties, and haunted mazes full of strangers. An escape room gives you all the excitement in a private, controlled setting.

  • Your game is private. Your group plays alone. No strangers, no mixing with other parties.
  • You know exactly who you are with. Family, friends, coworkers, or a birthday crew. That is it.
  • Indoor and staffed. You play inside our venue with our team on site the whole time.
  • Nobody touches you. In our rooms that use live actors, the actors never need to touch anyone.
  • Family-friendly by design. Witch House is about magic, laughter, and colorful spells, not scares. Kids who get nervous about Halloween do great here.
  • Free parking. No Strip casino parking fees and no hunting for a spot.

Why Is Witch House So Much Fun for Families?

We promise laughter, excitement, and puzzles you have never seen before. Our games are not the usual escape room puzzles. You will find yourself asking, “What am I really supposed to do?” Try the odd idea. Move your hand over the candles and watch them light up.

The best part: some games will baffle the adults while the kids figure them out in seconds, and other puzzles work the other way around. Everyone has a job, and everyone gets a win.

You also get a full 60 minutes of real play time. The clock starts when the door closes, not during check-in. Always ask any venue how much of the hour is actual play time.

Come in costume dressed as your favorite witch and get a free Seven Deadly Sins trick-or-treat bag (while supplies last). Groups love showing up in full witch costumes, and the room makes a perfect backdrop for Halloween photos and videos. Post them and tag Number One Escape Room.
